Hello. My name is Roger and today I’d like to talk to you about What is security intelligence and how can a Small Medium Enterprise use it to their benefit.

Security Intelligence makes you are actually starting to understand what the bad guys are doing and how to protect yourself in the most beneficial way without spending huge amounts of money.

We all heard about the dark web where 90% of the internet and you can do everything on the dark web. Well, there are people who actually lived there and do what I’ve said. But to get there, you have to get through the normal internet itself and you have to get other people involved so that I can target the system.

If you think I’m a target of anonymous, for instance, they actually used you to get followers to help protect whatever you are as a target. So you can use that to your benefit. You can use Google Ads to define what you consider really important so you can also look at your trade secrets, your intellectual property. If you have a product that people are talking about then you need to know better as a marketing component never mind there is security component.

But there are other places. IBM, Dell, HP – all have insight systems into what the bad guys are doing. And for a small amount of money per month, you can get intelligence from them about what is happening and who is targeting your business.

Although most of the targeted business, the cyber-crime targeted information systems that are out there are run by script keys or automated systems, there is the off chance that you might be a target of a pure, black-hat hacker and they would need a script keys to help do what they want to do.

Thank you very much.
