[Start of transcript]

Hello. My name is Roger. Today, I’d like to talk to you about what managed security components should a managed security service provider be looking after in managing

There are large areas where you’ve gone to an outsourced company to look after your IT. But, looking after your IT or looking after your business security are really two different areas. They do overlapped in a number of places. But desktop management and follow management are two different areas of expertise.

So, an outsourced-managed security service provider managed should be looking at your firewalls, your intrusion protection, your monitoring of those systems.

They should be also looking at impact management, your log-management and if you go even deeper, a good MSSP would also be interested in education training, implementing policies for your business, looking in business continuity in your business disaster recovery, and knows and make sure that your underlying system are now in place to make sure that you are protected there.

But even deeper still, they can also have a management compartment , they can see where your business is going, why your business is going in that direction, and implement solutions to perceived problems to make sure that you never have any problems with that system.

Thank you very much.
